Yangon- Mawlyamine- Maesot Breakdown cost + 7 additional tips!
Heyaaaaaa! Now I decided to release the cost breakdown from Yangon- Mawlyamine- Maesot Border- Yangon as of course I need to come back as I was refused to cross the border.
The reason why I can't cross will be in a video for sure and it will be release soon when I will meet Robee back as I need his videography skills and his participation to make sense as it is not only me who tried to cross the border.
How we react/ spent the Valentines day american time haha
A little bit story, Robee and I been traveling together since we met in Yangon International Airport and decided to be in the trip together after I lost my phone in Bagan and unfortunately we are separated after Maesot Border moments.
We are both overstayed by the way, he was overstayed 6 days and I am 25 days overstayed! ( I know such a terrible long time, but I got reasons just wait a bit that I will reveal it in a video soon, hahah)

Also, the pros and cons when you traveled alone will be surely a next blog but I was thinking to have a video on it with Robee again so you will know also his sides about traveling with someone or solo and which is better as we are both solo traveler and end up a team in a Myanmar trip.
On our way to the Maesot border! Probably last photo until now ahhahaha
You may get tired again when I will repeat to thank two people again - Dr. Neher and Mommy Liv who truly my two guardian angels who never fail to trust and believe in all my dreams! I love you both!

7 tips!
1. Do not overstay to any countries even it's cheap bcs it will cost you money, will be recorded, and will double up the cost going back to the capital and flying cost so much too when you have to leave in the same day.
Also some hotels and bank will not accept any transaction because of overstay visa, luckily AYA bank this line - I called the immigration in Mandalay and they told me I will only pay it when I will leave the country (this is not a lie as this is the truth when I went to the immigration in Mandalay)

2. Get the facts! Never assume that all countries have same way in dealing visa's and laws
3. Read reviews and check room first before booking a room or you may end up in a small hot room with mosquitoes which same price to a hotel.
4. Do not talk if you look like the local when you have to pass the immigration or any police shed so you won't be in trouble
5. Dress like local so you will not look so differnt to them that caught their attention- blend and live with locals is the best feeling I had when I stay with Shwe zin in her little house ( the burmese girl where Robee and I met in Mandalay)
Thanakha- traditional face paint in Myanmar
Shwe Zin (my burmese friend with her nephew) on our way to the hospital for her sister just had labor
6. Do not buy Xiaomi phone! as it is not supported by google play store that makes you can't upload grab that helps you to get to place you want to go. There are ways maybe to change the app setting but it takes time for sure.
7. When in times that you are tested by your faith and how smart you are- Do not forget to not rely to your feelings but also ask guidance to the people who have been there and listen to them.
One last story before I end this up, because I wear dirty clothes, I do not comb my hair, I smelled bad for sure when I check in- the woman asked me another destination after Vietnam and almost never let me check in. When I told her I have been in the road since last April and that was my second passport plus this is the first time I encounter to all my trips as her reason is I am from the Philippines- when she asked me how much I earned and asked my profession that keep her mouth shut I realized how people are so prejudice because the way you look. And when I am boarding she was bowing and smiling at me. And as human I felt- I wish I had enough time to discuss to her to never ever judge a person the way they looked.
This is me when I am bout to check in by the way. Do I look so poor? OTUKE!
By the way I did lecture to a German girl last two months in Koh Phangan that we both end up crying. Yay , full story next time!
