Top 7 things you must to do in Singapore!

There are a lot of things you can do in Singapore as it is one of the best country in the world aside that it is one of the expensive country in the world too. I will give you the 7 things you must to do in Singapore in one day or at least 12 hours lay over as if you were like me - having a connecting flight on my way to Bali.

Before I will give you the 7 things you must to do in Singapore I will give you the very first tip to never go to the immigration first if you have a connecting flights - instead wait around 7 am go to the kiosk about airport free tour that will take you to see the city for free! You must have at least 5 hours and above to avail this free city tour given by the Singapore changi airport.

But if you are here for real vacay then what am I stating above will be your choice. This is only for those who would like to see Singapore in a few hours or at least one day in a small budget given.

7 things you must to do in Singapore!

1. Don't miss to check the airport when you arrived!
- Given Singapore changi airport is one of the best airport in the world you must check it by your eyes! The lounge, the kids play ground, the art area, the flower and decorations, the stores, the free shuttle to another building of the airport, their pool, their foot ball big screen comfy area, their bar - I tell you, Singapore changi airport is the best! You can even sleep in floor because it is really clean! They also have free water and very clean amazing toilets!

2. Exchange money in the airport if you do not have their currency yet
- well my good friend "aaron" advised me - " exchange your money when you get there! " . One of the best tips I have read too says, do not exchange money in the airport because they might change you less than the other stores outside of the airport. Well both are a good advise depends on how long you stay in Singapore. If you stay there for 1 day or hours for your connecting flight - I bet you to exchange money in the airport for no hassle. Or if you stay longer for vacay then choose the otherwise then.

3. If you want cheap foods, go to level 3 in the airport or go for local foods outside of the airport.
- Both are good still depends on your choice. Of course outside local foods are weigh cheaper than the level 3 but level 3 in the airport is the cheaper place of food you can have in the airport. So either way is good it is up to you how long you stay in Singapore or what do you really prefer. Well I try both to be out of my curiosity. Lol

4. Make friends!
- This is applicable if you don't want your travel be really quiet and boring especially when you travel alone! It is also good to have friends or make friends - so that you can have a good photo of you and not always selfies. Also this will help if you want to share cost in taxi or food when you both have the same thinking of budgeting or spending less only.

5. Follow rules!
- Especially when you are in free tour- you can not eat or drink inside the bus and you can not be late in the given time you are required to meet in the meeting point - because they seriously left you if you can not make it in time.

6. Ask if you don't know!
- Never hesitate to ask question to things you are confused about. Like you want to know the password of the WiFi in airport to have 3 hours or 24 hours - information kiosk is always available and they know English very much, also they are helpful enough to give you a right response.

7. Have selfies or photo to MERLION and MBS!
- This is part of the free tour in the airport so it would not be a problem if you take the tour. Well if you have a friend then it is a photo of you with Merlion and MBS or Marina Bay Sands but if you are alone then it is a selfies then. Merlion and MBS are one of the tourist spot you must check on it as both are part of the culture and history in the country. It says it was called - The Merlion (MalaySinga-Laut) is a well known marketing icon of Singapore depicted as a mythical creature with a lion's head and a body of a fish. It is widely used as a mascot and national personification of Singapore.

The Merlion was first used in Singapore as the logo for the tourism board. The Merlion is similar to the heraldic sea-lion which occurs in a number of different artistic traditions, from Wikipedia. And MBS or Marina Bay Sands is an integrated resort fronting Marina Bay in Singapore, built by theSouth Korean company Ssangyong Engineering and Construction and completed in 2010. Prior to its opening, it was billed as the world's most expensive standalone casinoproperty at S$8 billion, including the land cost.

That would be all for 7 you must to do in Singapore ! Fit to all transit passengers or has the connecting flights with 5 more hours lay over! I am hoping you get some tips in my write ups and I would like to hear any feedback from you so that I would enhance all my write ups or blogs! I wish you enjoy your travel and see you hopefully in my next blog! Might be a tip for a real vacay with days in a beautiful Bali maybe or a 2 months stay in Cambodia! Well see! Cheers mate! Xo
