Top 7 things you must to do in Gili T!

Gili T or Gili Trawangan is located in Indonesia, part of Asia. Gili means small for it is a small island of Lombok. Lombok is a big island in Indonesia. Taking a boat from Bali to Gili T is what we do and what I can recommend too. It took around 2 hours and half to arrived to this island. Actually Gili Lombok has 3 small island named Gili Air, Gili Menu, and Gili T or Gili Trawangan. Most of the people agreed that Gili T is the best among to these island , for its more activity and more people as it is the busiest island among Gili Air and Gili Menu. According to the friend I had in Kuala Lumpur from Czech Republic named Zuzana who stays in Gili Menu said that mostly in Gili menu are old and quiet people. So I guess and bet if you are a teenager or a person loves to have an alive island I opted Gili T. Staying this island for like 5 days makes me to don't want to go home for the people especially locals that are so cool accommodating as. Also the island has so much thing to do that you can keep yourself alive. And because this is the place I had a very good time of this year 2016 - it is really hard for me to choose only 7 things you must to do in this island.  So the following I will tell you to do would probably the best in a hundred things you will do in this island.

Top 7 things you must to do in Gili T!!!!!

1. Stay in Puri Anjani as your home in this island!
- must be my last to say about the tips but again I choose already the best and this is the best thing you can do for a start in staying in this island. It is cheap to that will cost you 125,000 rupiah or  like 13 Australian dollar. Not bad because it is actually cheap already compare to the other place that cost you 20 aud and up. They also provide free breakfast. They have omelette, scrambled egg, banana pancake that comes with free toast and a coffee. Take note that a coffee is locally made so expect that it is amazingly bitter.    You can booked in Puri Ajani online to check some photos of the place and some reviews at TripAdvisor.com. A big thanks to Lalu and Adam as the receptionist of this hostel! You come as a stranger but you will end up a very good friends with them after. They are really the best staff who will help your needs and cool to be with you to see the sunset in the other side of the island. They will sing with you and drink with you. They even sing their national anthem of indonesia in our last night in Gili T.

2. Go for local foods than western foods!
- For me the best thing in travel is about foods. Indonesian local foods are very delicious aside it is really spicy that may end up to your stomachache, but their food is amazing! Try Nasi goreng of Mama amir if you are in sunrise side and if you go sunset of the island - I suggest Mama Imas. Mama Amir placed is after the horse car area and Mama Imas is I'm the other side of ombok side. Mama Imas is famous there so it would not be a problem asking where is her place.

3. Go for Mis store if you want cheap presents.
- Mis store is located near at Mama Imas food place -  at the other side in Ombok sunset. I had my short and bracelet for only 30,000 rupiah or 3 aud. I am sure it is a friend price. But if you will make them as your friend too then you can avail friend price too. They are lovely locals who love to talk to you and share their lives. I learned their language and some cultures from them for about 3 hours. Not bad to spend hours with them as for me that traveling is meant to know the locals too.

4. Leave your slippers when you enter to any store!
- As I remember this would be the first place I saw that I should leave my slippers entering convenience store. Well helping them to maintain cleanliness is a big help so just do it without any question.

5. Rent a bike!!!
- Rent a bike in Puri Anjani for only 40,000 rupiah or 4 aud. It is cheaper than the other place. Renting a bike is worth it for you to roam around the island by yourself. It is cool to bike very much just be careful when there's a horse car and other bad drivers along the way.

6. Choose snorkelling than diving!!
- Not that because I can't swim and I don't recommend diving, but according to Aaron who do diving that - snorkelling is more fun to do than diving in Gili T.  I do snorkelling with him and I tell you it is amazing. My first time to do that in my life and lucky me to see a lot of colorful fishes, turtles, and alive corals. Of course with the help of life jacket and other swimming materials from eyes to mouth for breathing to the feet shoes - to let you swim that fast. We rent those on our way to the beach for 150,000 rupiah or 15aud.

7. Don't miss the Amazing sunset in Pandawa!!!!!!
- I am sure that I've seen a lot of sunset in my life as sunset is the best part I love to do in my life, and i tell you that Sunset in Gili T is one of the best sunset I've ever seen in my life. Well if you want a cheap way watching the sunset - just grab some drinks in convenience store as it cheaper than the restaurant you are going to sit, hmmm of course don't sit in pandawa food place- walk little bit along the beach, sit in the sand, play your music by your speaker, drink something and wait till the sun set in the mountain of Lombok. Everyday is different sunset. The mist amazing is the colors in the sky. There is a swing with pandawa at the top as tour remembrance to be there. The swing is designed for couple so you can go to the center if you want a solo picture of it. By the way Pandawa means the Indonesian term of Paradise.

I would like to  share more but I guess you have to see it by yourself and experience what I mean. Gili T is amazing amazing amazing! If you want to share something or question or comment - never hesitate to tell me here! I would love to reply you and share more what I had in this island! I am looking forward you to read my other blogs! Cheers for a great life guys!!!!
