7 things you must see/s and do/s in Koh Lipe, Thailand + cost breakdown!

Tia Jojo and I along Walking Street, Koh Lipe, Thailand

Koh Lipe, Thailand- Sunrise Beach

Koh Lipe is a small island of Thailand. Because it is small, you can literally walk from sunrise point to sunset point in just about  5-10 minutes depending how fast you walked. There is no taxi available in the island, only tuktuk and the minimum starts is 50 baht (28 baht=1USD). The island is known to be touristic especially for snorkeling  and diving, because of its untouched and protected fishes and corals. The island is also expensive than the other islands, to be exact I spend 300USD in the island for just 7 days!

To explain why I got here, I was running out of visa and I was only planning my visa run. Also, I did some research that the island is small so I think one night is enough to see the island. Unfortunately, to all foreigners who will go Koh Lipe from Langkawi- you have to stay 1 week at least before you can come back to Langkawi. Take note *NO WESTERN UNION OR ANY CENTER AVAILABLE TO SEND/ RECEIVE MONEY! ONLY ATM MACHINES AND MONEY EXCHANGE PLACE.
This is my disgusting pose of being bossy, opsie!

I was lucky enough to follow my instinct to have more cash than just a budgeted money, again who knows what will happened along the way- being ready all the time saves in your mishaps!

Cost Breakdown
Langkawi- Koh Lipe = 112ringgit * 3/4ringgit = 1USD

7 things must see/s and do/s in Koh Lipe, Thailand!

1. Bring enough cash!
- Because only atm machines and money exchange place are available

2. Hostels are weigh expensive than the other parts of Thailand, so booking it earlier is an advisable idea

3. Do the snorkeling! It is really beautiful down there!

4. Check some trails from sunset side, just apply some mosquito repellent.

5. Hospitals and clinics are available so you are safe when something might happen.
- Well, I was working very hard and I consume too much coffee and red wine that makes me breathe so hard, Thank God hospital is walkable and the medicine was effective and I am still alive now. Also, thanks for my roommate Sebo in Langkawi to pick my call and help me relax when I need someone most in my sickness time.

6. Exchange rate is always fixed so if you have USD to Baht is better than from USD to Ringgit to Baht
- I must say, my money value from USD to ringgit is now lesser value!

7. Do not miss the sunrise and sunset!, they are beautiful! *You can just follow the way of Walking Street!
- sunrise is 5 to 6 am and sunset is 5- 6 pm too. Also, it would be nice to pick some rubbish like plastic along the way, at least you help the mother nature when you are there. It looks too many tourist is more than equal to the plastics I saw it there.
My swing modeling by tia jojo!, Well I cannot go down by myself so gotta call someone! lol

I know that there is nothing much to do aside for diving and snorkeling in this island, so 2 days for sure is enough!

Oh massage is worth it to try! oil massage 700 baht!

In this blog I would like to thank to my PRAC company and to my very understanding boss, also to the woman I met there from Honduras. Shoutout Tia Geraldine who made my Koh lipe days special, fun and wisdom talks! Gracis Tia Jojo! Love you!
