I honestly doubt if I have to go this place before, like literally this country bcs of the News. I even told myself that I will skip Myanmar in my Southeast Asia bucket list. But then a serious event that in just few hours booked me to see this country. I honestly confident that this country might be no big difference to all I've been in Southeast Asia but then I was wrong. So I arrived in Yangon International Airport - January 16, 2019 around 11 pm ish. And stay in Yangon for 6 days waiting the schools to give me a call. My room mates usually backpacker/ traveler and all are going to Bagan. I honestly in tight budget so I always hold myself while looking the pictures of Bagan in google photos and saying good byes to all my room mates. I am so luckily that I have ate ann on the phone most of the time and I told her that I am still waiting a job and my room mates left and visit Bagan. You know what her advise?  "Ask yourself what do you want, and do i

Phnom Penh, Cambodia-Koh Phangan,Thailand-Surathani COST, TIPS AND STORY!

I will try to remember this whole trip as I am very emotional this time after I lost my dearest friend. After I lost my friend, I can't focus to my teaching in Cambodia anymore as my students keeps asking why he died. It totally broke my heart into pieces that I end up crying in front of my students. At that time I just want to vanish and think that it was just a bad dream. After I asked the admin that I want to resigned- gladly they respect my decision and at the same time the admin was changed where they will accept nursery students only. Therefore my students have to transfer to another school, so I am pretty sure that my students will never think that I left them and I hope they think that way as of course I love them so much. After the funeral service of the dearest friend Ate Anne and her students filling the gloomy Saturday! Luckily I was searching a new job, a message pop up that if I want to volunteer in a resort. Sandy Bay Resort, Haad Yao, Thail

Currently I am in Hotel Boss Mandalay, Myanmar. So far so good! Finally got a chance to sit down and will share you the cost and tips about Myanmar. I will try to make a summary in everything so it won't be that too much for you to read. Just 7! 1. From Yangon International Airport to the city- I suggest you to find other travelers who will share a cost with you as you will take the taxi by yourself or group- it is the same charge "10USD". So I was thankful when I exchange my money in the airport (which is not a good idea) where this big guy Robert asked me if I want to join in the taxi (Thanks Robee!!). That's Robee who is married to his camera :) Thank you Robee for being my angel for taking care of me especially after I lost my phone. I am so grateful. You made this journey so easy and fun for me :) 2. There are many cheap hostel to stay in Yangon but I would love to suggest - Little Yangon Hostel for the bed that is very cozy, the

Why I Travel instead of.... 7 Reasons!

Image
Hey guys it is 7:30 am here in Yangon Myanmar (1/22/2019) and I think I would love to now tell you my reasons why I travel instead of ...   -Get a job and be stable -Get a guy and get married -Make a family and baby   And what? Stuck in that race until I die without fulfilling my dream to see the world?   Well my sister says, - one day you want to be with someone - one day you want to have a baby - one day you want to settled down     I won't say all that Idea are bad or not good or I do not care. I can't blame the people who think that  way as I consider that it is the way they care to me. Actually yes traveling alone is a bit sad- when I'm out of painting, when I want the road is easier to share cost in everything, when I want to have someone to laugh on and yes the worst case is WHEN I AM SICK.   I will never deny and abort the thought that I would love to do that life and I do respect that matter so I hope you do not get me wrong but at

Yangon Circular train cost and how to get there plus schedule X

Image
Cheap? want to get along with friendly locals? local foods? seeing the whole city?? Well, I think that Yangon Circular Train is the answer for that. I want you to know first that if you have pneumonia like me I bet bring your mask on! Under is the map that shows the train goes. Unfortunately, today we can't do the circular as some station is under construction but then the cost is the same - it is only 200 kyat for the whole journey!  So by the way 1510 kyat is 1 usd. So 200 kyat is really nothing. The photo under is the schedule o the train. The train journey is a 3 hours drive. I bet you will bring your own water as or your safety and usually the vendors sells fruits and some snacks and I do not see any refresher like water or coca cola. When I am trying to do selfie on my own and worried that I might fall. hahah How to get there The best place to board is at Yangon’s downtown train station off Pansodan and Bogyoke Aung San Roads.
