Hatyai is not like Koh Phangan and the rest touristic place that parties and loads of tourist you can find. Hat Yai is one of the least visited towns in Hatyai as it is part of southern Thailand where they said it was not safe due to some M people or yes Muslim. Do not get me wrong I love Muslim people but that is one of the reasons why this place was not that attracted to some tourist.  From Bangkok to Surathani was okay -It was a normal journey for me as the same experience when you are in the way to Phuket or Koh Phangan. But from Surathani to Hatyai- I was the only foreigner and thank God I look the same as the local that will not lead me to some crazing thoughts.
